Feb. 1st, 2008 11:16 amWith the exception of The New Guy (sorry, New Guy!), everybody's working from home today. I have a broken copy of Outlook and a warm, purring kitty, and that's not half bad.
R got the snow day call around 5:50, so he's been all smug & snug since then because he doesn't even have to pretend to work.
The final word on the car is that this time it wasn't McDoi's fault. Apparently that really is how it's supposed to sound (they brought in a nice shiny Pacifica off the lot and it did the same thing), so apparently mine was broken for the entire year and a half I've owned it!
Something is emitting small, intermittent electronic beeps somewhere in the house and I cannot find it. It's getting MADDENING. Edit: It was Rick's cell phone. Whew.
