Conflicted over the media
Oct. 20th, 2005 11:19 amI can't decide whether to be happy the media is using its teeth again, or unhappy that it took the Bush administration's blood in the water to get it to happen.
Eh, I'll be a half-full kind of goil and skip for glee that the press isn't the Official Government Press Release Announcement Service anymore. At least not so much.
This article amazed me, partly because of its scathing tone, but also in its broad approach to presenting information about the subject. Some of the quotes also had me in stitches.
Sadly, it relies on a lot of Vapor!Punditry, which weakens it as journalism overall. But I'm still tickled about the tone. It's downright vicious.
